The AS3 Ultimax shotgun is a new and improved version of the XS-2 Ultimax shotgun from Saints Row 2. The Ultimax has some really awesome upgrades, and by the time it’s fully upgraded you can quickly take out a large group of enemies without breaking a sweat. It’s very powerful, capable of killing most enemies in a single shot from medium to close range. By default, it comes equipped with a side-mounted flashlight that will toggle on at night. The upgrade path will allow the player to add things such as a red-dot sight for better accuracy, a drum magazine for higher ammo capacity and a side-mounted laser sight attachment for higher accuracy when firing from the hip. Once the Ultimax is fully upgraded, it looks and functions like a fully-automatic assault rifle that shoots buck shot. This weapon is a favorite of the Steelport Police Officers, and they won’t hesitate to use it.
